Disscussion Assignment: What Does Music Mean?
Generally, music appears to be the perception of the revise of the happened and excitement of the possibilities. But another side of the music, which is unaccounted by the most, makes the individual to set sail trough a lot distinctive emotional experiences that even they didn't tought they would: Music and the magic behind it is the vision and aim of hypostatisation of emotions.

Perceiving the visual and physical properties always been easier for the creatures like us. So that is the reason why we, mankind, qualified the visual arts as an art and auditory arts as a way to have fun. Besides the weak impressions humans made about music, this abstraction actually creates the imaginary bridge between emotions and audatiory elements. Those elements presents the emotions: The complexity, blur, delusionality and even the operation. If we will compare the emotional flow and musical composition, we can say that they actually act like eachselves. Like showed in the video, music can change our perception about the situation like our current emotions can change the perception of the both situation and music. This elasticity is something we cannot embody with our general peception. It requires an understanding and acknowledgement. That's what makes the music a whole another refined dimention.
Arch121 is a course based on readings and discussions. Instead of producing like at the other Arch courses; we read, think and discuss in Arch121. Both lectures and assignments are based on discussions, so, this course really helps us to develop our perseverance, ways of seeing and expression skills. Arch121 doesn't only touches on the architectual topics, it also interracts with music, art and many other related topics too. Therefore, this lecture also increases our level of culture and highly supports our general knowledge. It is going to be my favorite lecture forever.
These two structures offers us some similar concepts in terms of centerality and rhythm, both of them organizes around a reference point and include some repetitive combinations. In photo A we see so many square elements vary around a center just like the circular patterns in the photo B. But their understanding of repetition and variation creates a difference. Amsterdam Orphanage creates unities with square elements and juxtaposes the variations in rhythmic sense while also creating some volumetric rhythms with the gaps between the unities. Besides, Guggenhaim Museum creates rhythmic pattern with applying increasing scale operations to the circular elements. The amount and scale of variations makes Amsterdam Orphanage more complex than Guggenhaim Museum in terms of composition.
